Rhythmic Impressions!

Welcome! Here’s a deeper look into the project and how you can get involved.

This video was part of my initial introduction to the project, giving the public a glimpse into the creative process. To kick things off, I chose to be the first participant, offering a clear example of what to expect. I will record myself dancing on the canvas to a specific song, capturing the movement and energy that will shape the artwork. From there, I may use a still from the video or select from a curated set of silhouette images to complete the final composition.

This project is not just about randomly dancing on a canvas—though that would be fun too! Instead, it’s about creating a meaningful space for personal expression. If you're comfortable, before dancing, I offer a safe, unrecorded space where you can share something deeply personal—whether it's a moment of grief, joy, healing, or celebration.

For example, if you're grieving the loss of a loved one and need a space to release those emotions, you can stomp, cry, or even use your hands to express your feelings on the canvas. On the other hand, if you’re celebrating a milestone—like buying your first home—you can dance freely to your favorite song, letting that joy translate into the artwork.

The color palette will be personalized based on what you share, allowing you to choose the hues that best represent your emotions and experience.

You will have the option to be recorded or remain off-camera. If you’d like to be recorded but prefer anonymity, you’re welcome to wear a mask to keep your identity concealed.

This project is about movement, emotion, and storytelling—turning raw human experiences into a visual masterpiece.
