Tents of Kadar Closing Reception

Anu Redway presents a solo exhibition of her latest works at the Annex (located within Negative Space Art Gallery).

Titled “Tents Of Kadar”, the show features a series of Abstract, Surrealist, Contemporary paintings and jewelry inspired by psychology, nature, and African American themes.

Anu's paintings are characterized by bold colors, and the use of portraiture and female subjects, which create a sense of connectivity of deeper themes in relation to recognizable paraphernalia. Her work is a reflection of her fascination with the beauty and complexity of humans and nature, as well as her ongoing exploration of the creative process. 

Through “The Tents of Kadar”, Anu invites viewers to experience the wonder and majesty of a psychological facet of the African American diaspora not commonly spoken on.
