Inspiration: For those of us who have matured “school age”, do you remember either the excitement and for some of us dread of the first day of school??
For me it was my delight even though I didn’t have very many friends growing up. I wanted to see everyone’s new outfits and more importantly I wanted to show off my own! Every year was another shot for me to show how grown up I was, or that I was cuter than last year.
This derived from on and off years of bullying. I never fit in growing up. How I wish I could go back in time and tell 16 year old me how special I was because not fitting in is a super power!
